Years ago, caves were discovered in the Caldera of Oia, recognized by archaeologists as ‘dwellings’ within the caves. In this form, a unique hotel was created in Santorini, Aris Caves.

Inspiration for the hotel’s logo design came from the Cyclades islands, specifically the breathtaking view of the Caldera. In the logo proposal, we incorporated the characteristic breezes of the island that cause the wavy sea [wave & S (Santorini)].
From the undulations of the ‘A,’ we designed a minimal ‘S’ (Santorini) in a pattern that adorns the brand’s corporate identity.
We crafted a custom font to integrate the sensation of these winds into the logo.
The dominant colour is blue, perfectly matching the infinite blue of the Aegean.
The overall brand is more contemporary, supporting the new era of the hotel – a transition to new hands/a new generation.
